activist of Nepal, contributing herself in the feminist movement
since 20 years. She is 47 year old bold leader and had grown up in
very poor untouchable Dalit family at remote area. Due to the cruel
caste discrimination, she was avoided from the school and
compelled to escape to city and faced very difficulties, like aspassed the childhood life in street without food and cloths, became

high level position Dalit front organization of Nepali Congress- the
main political party of Nepal. But she is rejected to be a parliament
member due to not having citizenship. She hadn't got the citizenship because of her stepfather denied
to give his recommendation.
She had started a small orphan shelter under
bamboo house in the corner of Kathmandu
and gave shelter to 11 street children, who
were like her in her child age. By the hard
work, she has now established big school

young boy is in parliament, some are getting
opportunity in bureaucracy and some are
studying in Europe, America and Australia
after getting the international opportunity.
Now she is mother of those as well as
renowned Dalit women activist of Nepal.
She herself got the new life due to her hard struggle, which might be replicable for other life. Mainly,
she has given the human life to hundreds of children who were left/pushed onto street due to poverty,
caste discrimination and domestic violence and abuse. They have got human life with quality
education, homely environment and health care. Till the date, most of them have settled in society
with good occupation, some are getting international opportunity. Out them, now, an orphan child has
become a parliament member.
She loosed national opportunity and others chances due to no
citizenship. Then, she, along with other gender activists, raised the
issue of citizenship right under the recommendation of mother. Now,
the issue has been addressed in new construction of Nepal.
She is herself a remarkable woman in Nepalese society and
Dalit and gender movement, from whom; many women may
learn the lesson of her success. Many youth girl has been
