2.1 Technical Advisory Group

 Provide inputs to the GO & regional


coordinators to:
 resolve methodological problems
 link regional PPPs to obtain global results
 adopt data access policies
 prepare regional and global reports.

3.1 The Role of the ICP Global Office (GO)


and Global Manager
 Implement the ICP at the international level
 Establish synergy between the ICP and the SNA
(2003/2008)
 Provide secretariat functions for the Executive Board
 Provide overall coordination and support across
regions
 Implement dissemination policy of ICP statistics to
the users
 Manage databases & access to ICP data

4.1 The Role of the Regional Offices (RO)

 Design & implement regional programs


 Provide overall coordination and support to
participating countries
 Monitor implementation of program

Statistical Commission
 Constitute the ICP Executive Board (EB)
 Review and act upon issues raised by the
Executive Board
 Provide guidance to the EB
 Form a Friends of the Chair
 Liaise WB and Global Manager to keep lines of
communication open between the UNSC & GO

The Role of the Development Data


Group (DDG) in the World Bank

 Ensure data confidentiality from countries


 Responsible for archiving the 2011 database
 Provide policy recommendation to data access
 The DDG Director will be a member of the ICP
EB.
