Development (CPD)
The full ICE 3006A document includes the following content:
1. Introduction
2. Why our CPD is essential civil engineers need to maintain their technical, managerial and professional
competence through CPD
3. Current practice in CPD the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skills.
It must comply with the ICE Code of Conduct as well as meeting the expectations of society
4. The CPD cycle should be regarded as a continuous process of planning ahead and reviewing the activities
against the plan
5. Development Action Plan (DAP) CPD cycle will commence with a review of what is required in the form of
a plan
6. Personal Development Record (PDR) record of activities undertaken cross-referenced to the DAP and with
a reflection of the benefits
7. Support for your CPD through employer and personal responsibility
