Calvin C. Parks This Indenture made the twenty six day of October in the year of our
To Lord one thousand Eight hundred thirty five Between Calvin C. Parks
Arthur Power and Harriet Parks wife of said Calvin of the first part and Arthur Power of
the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four
hundred and fifty Dollars to us in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is
[hereby?] confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released and by these
presents do grant bargain sell remise release and forever quit claim unto the said party of the second part
& to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain Parcel of Land situate and lying in the Township of
Farmington in the county of Oakland and Territory of Michigan known and described as the south East
quarter of section Twenty one in Township number one north of Range number nine East
containing one hundred & sixty acres of Land be the same more or less

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances hereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues profits thereof and
all the Estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in
Law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances
[thereof?] To have and to hold the said premises to the said party of the second part and to his heirs and
assigns to the sole and only purposes uses benefits and behoof of the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their
hands and seals the day and year first above written

County of Oakland } ss. Be it remembered that on this 29th day of October 1835 personally
appeared before me the undersigned a Justice of the Peace in and for the county of Oakland Calvin C.
Parks and [H]arriet his wife known to me to be the grantors of the within deed and before me
acknowledged that they executed the within for the use and purposes therein expressed and at the same
time Harriet his wife examined in private separate and apart from her husband and acknowledged that
she executed the same freely and without any fear threat or compulsion from her husband. Given under
my hand this the day and year first above mentioned
