The email field MUST be your YSU email address and end in @student.ysu.edu
Create a password for this account. Do NOT use your YSU password.
Change the "How Will You Use Mathworks..." field to Academic Use.
Fill in your contact information.
Scroll down and click Submit.
Close this browser window.
Step 2.1: Go to the Mathworks website: in a web browser go to www.mathworks.com (click on login)
Click on My Account.
Step 2.4: Associate your Mathworks account with the TAH license.
Step 2.5: (continue) Associate your Mathworks account with the TAH license.
Step 2.6: (continue) Associate your Mathworks account with the TAH license.
Step 2.7: (continue) Associate your Mathworks account with the TAH license.
Click Done.
Click Logout.
Close this browser window.
Step 3.1: Go to the Mathworks website: in a web browser go to www.mathworks.com (Login to your
account)
Click on My Account.
Click on Download.
If you do not have Java JRE installed then click on Get JRE and follow the instructions.
If you do install JAVA JRE here then when it is done you will need to go back to
www.mathworks.com (do not use the BACK button in your browser.) You should still be logged
in. Go back to Step 3.2 and proceed again from there. This time you will not be prompted to
install JAVA JRE.
Choose what you want to download, typically whatever is shown as the Current Release.
Click Continue.
Select Typical.
Click Next.
Click Next.
The user name displayed is who you are logged into Windows as. MATLAB will only run when
you are logged in with this user name.
Click Next.
Click Activate.
Click Finish.
MATLAB is now installed.
