Standing Method

## Standing published a procedure that can be used to predict the

decline in the value of qo (max) as gas saturation in the reservoir
increases from depletion.

f ( Prf )=

Where
J* = zero drawdown productivity index
Jf* = value of J* when Prp has declined to Prf
Jp* = value of J* at the present reservoir pressure

k ro
o B o

This future J may be used if the version requiring a value for q(max):
q o(max ) f =qo (max) p

Fetkovich Method

## The method proposed by Fetkovich to construct future IPR's consists

of adjusting the flow coefficient C for changes in f(Pr ).
Fetkovich assumed that f(Pr ) was a linear function of Pr.

## Future IPR - Two Phase

Example:

Fetkovich Method
Construct an IPR for the time when Pr has declined to Prf = 2000 psia. The
following data were obtained at present time: Prp = 3600 psia, n = 0.854,
Cp = 0.00079

adjust qo (max) if a value for the exponent n is assumed.

## If a value of n equal to one is assumed, then:

Example:

## Combining Vogel and Fetkovich

It was found that qo (max) was equal to 1097 STB/day for Pr = 2085 psig.
Using this data calculate:
1. qo (max) when Pr = 1900 psig
2. qo when Pr = 1900 psig and Pwf = 1485 psig
3. Construct present and future IPR

Tugas no. 1

fluida diperoleh tekanan bubble-point senilai 1980 psig.
Pengujian sumur menunjukkan pada laju alir 1260 stb/d diperoleh
tekanan dasar sumur 2120 psig.

21/09/16

16

Tugas no. 2
