I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2005. Post Basic I was assigned to a


Combat Action Reconnaissance Platoon at Fort Hood, TX. My job
titles included: HMMWV Driver and Gunner, Bradley (BFV)
Driver and Gunner, and Dismount on an SKT (Small Kill Team).
My responsibilities included operating aforementioned vehicles
during combat operations, vehicle maintenance, and weapon and
equipment maintenance. I also served as a HMMWV Driver and
Gunner, Dismounted Security, and HMMWV Commander on a
Personnel Security Detachment. I was active duty for more than 7
years as a Cavalry Scout. I was assigned to Fort Campbell in 2009.
My job titles included: Scout Team Leader, Scout Section Leader,
Master Driver, and Administrative Supervisor. My responsibilities
included training and supervision of a four man Recon Team,
training and supervision of an eight man Recon Section, supervising
the training of new drivers in the unit and implementing safety
precautions during training exercises, scheduling training exercises,
completing and filing Army related paperwork, Task Organization
and personnel management, and equipment maintenance and
utilization. I also served in many other miscellaneous positions
such as: Security NCO, Key Control NCO, Equal Opportunity
NCO, and Tactical Site Exploitation Team Leader (Battlefield
