Procedure for MOP Auto cut i n Test

1. PREPARATION & CONFIRMATION

1-1. CONFIRMATION OF FSNL OPERATION.
Confirm GT GAS Control valve stability at rated speed.
1-2. All operational data should be confirmed during "FSNL operation.
On FSNL operation, protective device checkout is carried out
Auto start test on MOP/EBOP/ESOP
CRITERIA
2-1. MOP Auto Start Header Pressure
2-2.EBOP Auto Start Header Pressure
2-3.ESOP Auto Start Header Pressure
2-4.BRG Oil Header Pressure Low Alarm

.Auto start test of MOP

A)

MOP{B)AUTO START TEST

3-1.MOP {A) is running. Check the lube oil Header press

(>8 Bar) and Lube oil pressure > 1.8 Bar
3-2. Put the control switch of MOP (B) to be on AUTO, and verify that MOP {B)
is on standby mode.
3-3. Operate the Main Lube Pump Test "ON" from Mark-V
Solenoid valve operate, (draining the oil pressure from the pressure switch
at the moment when the MOP (B) starts automatically due to lube oil pressure
low. Make sure the pressure {checked by press. Gauge at turbine front
standard) Both A & B will be running.

3-4. Successful completion of test, the Main Lube Pump Test will go
to "OFF" mode.

3-5. Stop MOP (A) from Mark-V. MOP (A) AUTO START TEST

3-6. MOP {B) is running (ln service)

Check the lube oil Header press (>8 Bar) and Lube oil pressure >
1.8 Bar

3-7. Put the control switch of MOP (A) to be on AUTO, and verify that
MOP (A) is standby.

3-8.Operate the Main Lube Pump Test "ON" from Mark-V

Solenoid valve operate, (draining the oil pressure from pressure
switch) at the moment when the MOP (A) starts automatically due to
lube oil pressure low. Make sure the pressure (checked by press.
Gauge at turbine front standard with both A & B running.
3-9. Successful completion of test, the Main Lube Pump Test will go to
"OFF" mode.
3-10.Stop MOP (B) from Mark-V.

4. Auto start test of ESOP with test valve at local panel)

4-1.MOP (A) is running Check the Lube Oil Pump Header Press (>8 Bar)
and Lube Oil Pressure > 1.8 Bar
4-2.Put the control switch of EBOP to Auto, and verify that EBOP is
standby mode.
4-3.Operate the test valve at oil tank gauge panel
to reduce the detecting pressure of Pressure Switch
EBOP starts automatically when sensed oil' pressure low'
4-4.Restore the test valve to normal position.
4-5. Stop EBOP from Local starter panel, and put CS to "Auto" position.
4-6.Check that the Brg.oil pressure and Brg. metal temperature are
steady.

5. Auto start test of ESOP (with test valve at local)

5-1. MOP (A) is running Check the Lube Oil Header Press (>8 Bar)
and Lube Oil Pressure > 1.8 Bar
5-2.Put the controlswitch of ESOP to Auto, and verify that ESOP is
standby mode.
5-3.Operate the test valve at oil tank gauge panel
to reduce the detecting pressure of Pressure Switch
confirm ESOP starts automatically when sensed "Low pressure"

5-4.Restore the test valve to normal position.

5-5. Stop ESOP from local starter panel, and put CS to "Auto" position.
5-6.Check that the Brg.oil pressure and Brg. Metal temperature are steady.
