Genset Options

The MAN license engine builder network is one of the main suppliers for shipyards
worldwide building modern container ships with varying configurations in the range
3 to 25k TEU.
The main requirements are: Standard Tier II genset - with future Tier III capability
Preferably high cylinder output - to achieve 3-engine possibility
SFOC optimised for part load where the genset is mostly operated
Standard engine module using existing engine room designs lowers costs
Robust design to offer low maintenance costs
Field proven using existing, proven MAN engine designs
