Market Outlook

Sensex Daily Candlestick Chart

We said, "Indecisive till it breaks beyond the two-day range
..." The index generated false break of the range at opening
but recovered 186 points, thereafter. Failing to break the
range on upside, it shaved off all gains later and settled flat.
The FMCG majors, ITC and HUL saved it from larger damage
but he A/D ratio ended marginally negative.
The action formed a Long Legged Doji on the third day of
indecisive trade. With the January account now settled,
watch if the index is able to hold yesterday
yesterday'ss low and open
positive options for February account. Positive options will
get confirmed on strength/close above two day range, i.e.
Monday's high. Otherwise, the index may remain subdued
and turn negative if it breaks and ends below yesterday.
