Branding Campaign Preview

Situation Overview
Recent shifts in the health and human services landscape have resulted in declining reimbursements. Disruptive
innovators and startups are now vying for business in the respite service area and outpatient physical therapy chains
are rapidly moving into the market. Business as usual is not an option in todays changing world.
While similar organizations have consistently invested in building and maintaining their brands, Curative Care has not
made a concentrated effort to let people know who they are and what they do.
In 2016, Curative Care has made the commitment to invest in rebuilding its brand to ensure long term sustainability
in a very competitive market. The new look, logo and tagline reflects the warmth, compassion and dedication of
Curatives amazing staff and exceptional services, something we can all be very proud of.
This summary outlines key strategies designed to build and reenergize the Curative Care brand to attract and convert
new customers, potential donors and top talent. These exciting changes help us strengthen and differentiate our
brand and bring clarity to how we talk about our programs and services.

Never Underestimate the Power of Parents

Club Curative offers programs for young adults with special needs

Benchmark Awareness Survey

by: Michele Campbell, Manager, Adult Day Services

Having a child with special needs can be a challenging
journey. Families of special needs children are truly amazing.
Never underestimate the power of parents; they will do
anything for their children!
For most parents that have a student graduating from high
school, the only thing that is on their mind is where they are
going to go to college, get a job, or if they will be signing
up to serve our country. For parents with disabled students,
things are a bit different.

an outgoing, happy, vibrant young adult. Club Curative

Forest Home currently has 56 enrolled students.

Focus Groups

Club Curative is a program designed for young adults ages

18-29 with developmental disabilities. Flexible programs
are tailored to meet individual goals and expectations.
Club Curative programming is offered Monday through

Identity Manager Standards

Friday from 7:30 am 4:30 pm. Programming is offered at:

Curative Forest Home
6700 W. Forest Home Avenue

Children with special needs are not like the traditional

student. They typically stay in high school until the age of

21. As they approach 21, the question becomes what is

next? Three families asked this question back in 2012(?)
The families approached Curative asking if we would
design a program specifically for their children. It became
apparent that the families were frustrated about the
limited opportunities for their children with special needs to
transition from high school. Many of the families had toured
facilities and they just were not satisfied with what they
were told and saw. They wanted more for their child. After a
series of conversations about what this new program would
look like, Club Curative was launched at the Curative Forest
Home facility with approximately three students attending.
Today, Club Curative is a vibrant place where young adults
can learn and practice daily living skills, money management,
employment skills, and most important socialization skills.

Michele Campbell has a Bachelors

Degree in Psychology from the University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Michele has been
managing/ working directly with people with
special needs at the Curative Forest Home
location for almost two years. She was in
Human Resources with Curative for 10 years prior to coming
to Forest Home. While in Human Resources, she volunteered
to help the day programs take individuals on community
outings as well as helping cover in the programs when there
was a need. Michele has a son who has had his share of
challenges since his birth. She understands the importance of
being an advocate for those in need.
