Thus we can say that this definitely falls under the ambit of philanthropic responsibility. Legal: The project falls under the ambit of legality. c. this is a sustainable CSR initiative. Microsoft has offices in 9 locations across India—Ahmedabad.Recommendations Microsoft India is already doing an excellent job of improving the life of people of India by providing them with IT literacy and general skills and education. The already existing initiatives fall under the ambit of sustainable corporate social responsibility. the need of the hour for the company is to focus its efforts on underdeveloped areas. Mumbai. I would like to recommend them to take steps in the field of women empowerment and disaster mitigation and management . As per their policy statement. Chennai. the preference will be given to local areas where it operates. they can move to dimensions other than IT education to develop skills in the rural unemployed population. Kochi. Kolkata. So.Already some of these projects are under pipeline to be implemented soon. the NCR (includes offices in New Delhi and Gurgaon). . Also. Bangalore. Hyderabad. However. Most of the initiatives taken by company are sustainable in the long run.
