Hwa Rang of Silla ultimately unified the three

Poomse Koryo is a celebration of the courage and

fortitude of the early Korean people, who defeated
the rampaging Mongolian army which had swept
across most of Asia. The line of direction of Poomse
Koryo draws the Korean character for Sa, meaning
scholar and gentleman.

Extra
Help

Mr Justin 3rd Dan

Did you know? Instructors

This is an excellent time to

I am currently a third
degree black belt. I have been
with Silva Tae Kwon Do for
about 15 years. Before Tae
Kwon Do, I was a destructive,
terror of a child. Tae Kwon Do
really helped me control my
anger, and use it in a positive
way. In my time at the studio, I
have learned to respect others,
and myself. I currently help
teach Fridays, and it is
something that I enjoy a lot.
TKD has helped me with
more than physical strength, it
has also helped with mental
strength. Before, I would always give up when things
got too hard. From the martial arts, I learned to keep
my head up and strive. This attribute has carried
along in other aspects of my life, like school. I know
that even if a class may seem hard, I can always do it.
Coming to Tae Kwon Do, and teaching just feels
good; knowing that I can make a difference in
someones life is great. I would have never learned
any of this if I werent for Tae Kwon Do, and Silva
Martial Arts.
