Super ‘Frost Moon’

The full moon in November is known
as the Frost Moon. Today, the moon will
pass closer to the Earth than it has in almost 70 years: since 1948 to be exact. And
it won’t be as close — a mere 356,508 km
to the Earth — again until 2034. It will
have been at its closest just before dawn
this morning, but will be almost equally
visible last night and tonight.

November is proclaimed as Multiculturalism Week. It is a time to celebrate the
contributions of our multicultural communities and to appreciate the way diversity enriches British Columbia.
“[BC’s] cultural diversity has become
one of our greatest strengths. It helps create strong & vibrant communities, and
has become a competitive advantage for
Canada’s leading economy, as ethnic, ancestral, and cultural ties lead to investment, educational, and business links,
said Premier Clark. “Whether your ancestors first came here millennia ago, in the
first wave of European settlers, or if you
just arrived this year – in BC we strive to
build a society where everyone feels at
home. I encourage everyone to join in this
week’s celebrations throughout the
province, and remember why we are fortunate to call this wonderful place home.”
Almost 30% of British Columbians
immigrated to BC from another country.
Just under 1/4 of the people in BC are a
visible minority. Another 5% of the population is Aboriginal.

Public Servant "Give me a sentence about a public servant," said the teacher. The
small boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant." The teacher took
the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?" she asked.
"Sure," said the young student confidently. "It means 'carrying a child'."

and bright - at your best when
you help someone in trouble.
Your response to a crisis with
quick-thinking brilliance will be
appreciated this week.

You're sometimes motivated by
deeply conflicting emotions &
desires. Now is one of those
times. you don't want to risk
upsetting anyone. the water is

Relax, and explore your creative side. You can realise a
long held ambition this week.
Just try not to be too distracted!
Seize the moment and free
yourself from a fear.

This week, don't look at your
current journey as a fairground ride - designed to provide thrills. You're really just
making a safe and practical

It's important to somehow make
sense of what has happened to
us. If you want to see your present in a different light, you need
first to accept and assimilate the
lessons of your past.

Be honest enough with yourself to acknowledge that you
could be short of some information, but don't disappear in
a pool of self-doubt. The picture will become clear.

It's not just in your own heart
that an has endless love &
generosity. When someone's
difficult behaviour confuses,
you'll find the capacity to reach
through to their softer side.

This week, if you can do the
'right' thing now, it will reap dividends. The fog is lifting and the
right way to move forward is becoming clear.

It’s a time to reconsider & realise you have the momentum
to change your life for the better. It helps if your heart is clear
of clutter and determined to
fight a noble cause.

Nov 22 Dec 21

April 20 May 20

There may be a 'thunk', as the
way ahead becomes blindingly
obvious. Hopefully, confusing
memories about past events
will simplify, and you'll catch a
glimpse of a fairy-tale outcome.
