UOI: As we near the end of the unit, please reflect on the work that we have been doing in
class and explain the following statement with an example;
“Sharing freshwater is difficult because many rivers, lakes and aquifers cross from one country
into another”
LITERACY: Please read your assigned book and complete one Reading Response activity from
you chart. Also, please remember to practise your spelling words for the test on Friday!
MATHS: We have been looking at mapping and location in class this week. Create a map of
your bedroom using all of the various elements a map requires. Also, revise your timestables;
this week the 8 and 9 timestables. Please remember to write the tables in your homework
books each day. You should be able to recite the answer to a timestables question as quickly
as you can answer the question “What’s your name?”

Thinker. In your homework book, write down answers to the following questions:
1. What does it mean to be a thinker?
2. What are the different ways that you can demonstrate how you are a thinker to other
