What was the most common reason for speaking?
Students speak when the teacher ask them open questions, and it mostly
happens in the circle area during the lesson.
What was the least common reason for speaking?
During a discussion time between the teacher and students about a
particular lesson and students don't speak a lot because of their weak
vocabulary.

Yes, there were boxes that with no ticks for that three students because they
didn't do what are written in the table.
How much of the lesson was spent on the teacher using ‘Teacher
Talk’, in your opinion?
The teacher talk used in the introduction of the lesson and the activities in
order to explain the activities for students and give them instructions,
whereas in the assessment part she didn’t use teacher talk to students
depend on themselves by writing in the worksheet what they have took.
Do you feel it was an appropriate amount of talk? Why / Why not?
Yes, it was appropriate amount because the teacher talked in the situations
that she have to talk in, in order to students receive the idea of the lesson
and understand it.
What do you think is an appropriate sequence of interaction
patterns?
I believe that it was a proper sequence of a lesson or interaction patterns
because the teacher begins with an encouraging method to grab student’s
attention, like, sing a song. Further, to continue the lesson she provided for
students various of activities to deliver the idea of the lesson for them and
by giving them opportunities to understand the concept of the lesson by
doing these activities by their own selves. Next, she ended the lesson by
asking students several questions.
Now consider how much Arabic was used. Do you think it was used
appropriately?
Why? / Why not?
The Arabic language was used suitably because the teacher talked in Arabic
when she sees that her students didn’t understand a particular part of the
lesson and she used it in order to deliver the information for them.

Reflection for Bonus Points
What role do you think Arabic should play in the English classroom?
The Arabic language should play a sub-role in the English classes, for explain
some difficult activities for students in order to they understand what going
on in the classroom and apply what the teacher want. However, the English
language is an essential part in the English classroom because students have
an opportunity to learn a new language and earn new experiences and
knowledge.
