Date: Week 9—11th November 2016

Y2 Visit Conisbrough Castle
Our Y2 classes visited Conisbrough Castle
this week—braving the cold wintery weather
to learn about castles, who lived in them and
what it was like to live in a castle. They enjoyed dressing up and learning about weapons
and how to protect their castle from enemies. You can pictures from their visits on
their class blogs.

Thank You!
Thank you to all parents and carers who came
to parents evening this week—it was great to
have such a positive turn out. If you were unable to attend this time but would like to
meet with your child teacher please call in—
we’d be happy to find a convenient time for
you.

We Remember!
At 11am this morning we held a 2 minute silence to mark Remembrance Day.

Anti Bullying Week!
Next week we will be marking Anti Bullying
week with a series of special assemblies,
events and lessons around anti-bullying. Parents and carers are invited to join us for special assembly on Tuesday 15th Nov at 3pm,
where Y5 & Y6 will
be performing a special ‘Play in a Day’
with Konflux Theatre Group.

Did you know you can find all our up
and coming diary dates, weekly

of luck!

Cricket
Y2 have started
cricket coaching
this week with
Dean Smith from
the Yorkshire
Cricket Board.
They stretched
their imitation
muscles to learn
some key cricket
skills like throwing,
catching and bowling and are looking forward to
developing their skills over the next half term.
