TITLE. This Ordinance shall be known as the Amended Paraflaque Comprehensive Land Use & Zoning Ordinance, and shail be hereinafter referred to as the “Zoning Regulations” ARTICLE TI AUTHORITY AND PURPOSE AUTHORITY _. This ordinance is enacted pursuant to the provisions of the Local Govemment Code of 1991 (R.A. 7160) Rule VII Article 41 of its Implementing Rules and Regulation and the Executive Order No. 72 of the President of the Philippines. PURPOSE _, This Ordinance is enacied to achieve the following purpose: a. To promote and protect public health, safety, peace, morals, comfort, convenience and the general welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Parafiaque; D. To guide, control and regulate future growth and development in accordance with the Land Use and Structure Plans for the City of Parafiaque. c. To protect the character and stability of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, parks and open spaces and agricultural arcas and promote the orderly and beneficial development of the areas. d. To provide adequate light, air, privacy and convenience of access to property and to ensure safety from fire and other dangers; e. To prevent overcrowding on land and undue concentration on population; £ To regulate the location and use of building and land in such ‘a manner as to obviate the danger to public safety caused by undue interference with existing or prospective twaffic movements on streets and thoroughfares. Itis hereby declared to be the Policy of the State to safeguard life, health, property, and public welfare consistent with the principles of sound environmental management and control; and to this end make i¢ the purpose of this Ordinance to provide for all buildings/stractures, a framework of minizaure standards, regulate and control their location, site, land ase, occupancy and business activity. Section 4.1. Land is a limited national resources and as such it must be managed for the welfare of all Section 4.2. The environment provides man with life supporting systems and such it must be conserved and developed to enhance the quality of life.
