Time to Cause Chaos!
Battleborn is a fust person video grune that was released on May 3,2016 and designed
by John Mulkey. This game has an astounding story and a set of unusual, but hilarious
chaxacters. Battleborn is strongly reoommended to the audience that wants to play an excellent

story and secretly loves causing chaos. This game is fun and objective in a unique way, because

of the game's story and online multiplayer system.
This game requires intemet conoection even when the audience wants to play solo during
the story. The reason is due to the fact that playrng and gaining experience while in the story
goes over to the online player level. Player level is ttre player's ranking that can give access to

the items that can be used during the player versus player (PYP) matches and story. Having

intemet connection will allow the person to play with or against their friends or other people
online. This video garne's PVP is amazing due to the fact that there are threg different types

of

matches: Incursion, Capture, and Meltdown. Battleborn's PVP gameplay can also be categorized
as a multiplayer online bafile arena

(MOBA) where strategizing and cooperating with the team t.

Battleborn is on the Xbox One, PlayStation Four, and the computer. The controls vary for
each console, but are very accessible. The controls can be more comfortable by setting the

player's preferable choice of button layout in the menu. Leveling up by eliminating the villain's
minions, will cause the gamer to gain experience to level up. When leveling up, a tree of skills

will become accessible.

The problem with this is that the game doesn't pause when trying to

decide which ability would be beneficial for the mission. Instead of pausing the game,

it

temporarily slows the game down while playing the story. On the Polygon website, JeffRamos
points out a great flaw within the game, "ln Battleborn,pullirgup a frrll screen menu to pick
new talents isn't great, considering how many different angles you can get shot from". The menu
takes the whole screen, but is fransparent so the player

will

see the enemy

coming.

In order to progress with a higher chance, playing the character that has a role that can
benefit the team can increase the timing in which the objective is completed. Each player can

The story of this game is about a villain who is trying to destoy the universe. Every
player will be given seven characters to interfere this fioublemaker's plans along wit*r his
accomplices. There are about a total of two dozen characters. As the story progress€E, each
player will be given the opportunity to aid other allies that are part of the two dozen characters

who may have gotten themselves in a sticky situation. Succeeding in the missions as an aide for
these characters unlocks them as playable heroes. Within the set of characters, there

will

also be

vitlains that are playable once they are defeated. The updates include even more unique
characters to play.

Gearbox Sofiwore,the developer of Battleborn, weated. another fan favorite,

Borderlands. These two can be compared, because Battleborn has a pleasant player versus player
system, whereas Borderlands has a satisffing and long story. Battleborn has an anaztng story,

but most people agree with Dave Rudden on the IGN website when he says, "With all of that
action, the actual story Battlebornisrying to tell becomes-background noise". The game has a
great story, but can have more

This is an incredible game if the player loves a first person, PVP, and MOBA. After

reading this review, most people won't have much touble deciding which game to buy. People

would love to pay forty dollars and in-game purchases to have a great time. For readers, this is a
warning; if there are gamers that do not want to have sleepless dghts playing this awesome
game, do not buy it.
