A natural resource is often characterized by

amounts of biodiversity existent in various
ecosystems.

Natural resources are derived from the

environment. Many of them are essential for
our survival while others are used for
satisfying our wants.

Biotic - Biotic resources are obtained from the

biosphere, such as forests and their products, animals,
birds and their products, fish and other marine.

decayed organic matter.

Abiotic - Abiotic resources comprise of non-living things.

Examples include land, water, air and ores such as gold,
iron, copper, silver etc.

resources: are ones that can be replenished

or reproduced easily. Ex: sunlight, air, wind.
NonRenewable resources: are formed over very long
geological periods.they cannot be replenished once they
get depleted.

abusely along the years.
Causing serious ambiental damages such
as destruction of ecossistems and
reduction of fossil fuils reserves.

is possible to prolong their existence.

ecossistems, because of the assembling and
drilling with probes.

Coal exctration causes a large moviment of
land and landslides, gas explosions and
there are a large number o miners that die
every year

distributed differently in different societies,
depending upon several different factors,
including the culture of the society, location
of its resources, type of government, and the
population density and distribution.
