Eam and Bany had been in a relationship for approximately two years. Barry told his i this approximately an hour before the incident. When he looked toward the bedroom door, he saww Barry enter tha bedroom bleeding hédvily from the neck. Barry only asked Jarbabkowski to call for help before he became unresponsive. Jarbabkowski recalled seeing a knife with a white handle covered in blood on the floor as Guy Harid tried to perform GPR on Barry after Barry collapsad on the bed. When he exited his bedroom that he shares with Barry's mother, he saw Barry bleeding heavily from the neck. He attempted CPR until he saw that Fire Rescue had arrived. Hand admitted to picking up the bloody knife from the floor and placing it in the Kitchen. He said he didn't know why he did move the knife. He recalled using the same knife earlier in the evening when he was cutting a pot roast that they had for dinner. An autopsy was performed and the preliminary results indicated that Barry died from a knife wound to the chest and the manner of death was homicide. He made contact witht Eam at the residence where the vehicle was located. Eam was interviewed inside of the resitionce belénging to her aunt. During a sworn taped statement. Eam admitted to driving over to Barry's residence to speak to him about thelr relationship on the moming of the incident. She admitted that she was extrememly hurt by his words and reacted to him telling her he didn't love her by opening a drawer and grabbing a knife. Eam admitted she stabbed Barry. Eam couldn't recall how many times she stabbed Eam but said possibly more than once. Evidence at the autopsy indicated that Bary was stabbed more than once. Eam admitted she left her cell phone at Barry's house because she panicked. Eam admitted to driving the Toyota to Barry's and from Barry's residence.
