ENGLISH WEEK POSTER CONTEST

RULES

LEVELS: K-3/ 4th-6th / 7th-9th /10th-12th


Theme: Acquisition of English Inspires Cultures to Excel
Across Boundaries
Due Date: November 15, 2013
COMPETITION RULES
All entries must be original student creations, ( including concept,
composition and any visual image). Theme is to be included.
Poster dimensions are 12x14 ( no margins or picture frame)
Poster must be developed on a white cardboard only (no colored
cardboards).
Techniques to be used:
a. Drawing or pencil
b. Acrylic paint
c. Tempera paint
d. Watercolor painting
e. Pastel painting
f. Crayon painting
g. Colored pencils

The drawing can be presented horizontally or vertically.

The design should not have glitter or gloss.


The drawing cannot be three dimensional or in decoupage.
An entry form must accompany each poster with the following
information:
A. Students Name
B. Grade
C. Student Phone number
D. School Name, Address and Phone Number
E. School District
F. School Region
G. Teacher contact name
H. Teacher contact number(optional)
All posters will be enumerated to keep track of participants at the
end of the competition.
Entries lacking information will be disqualified.
All posters must be delivered with an entry form in a sealed
envelope, taped on the back of the poster (NO staples).
All posters become property of the School District, Region and or
Central Level.
Acceptance of awards constitutes consent to use winners names
and entries for exhibitions, advertising and publicity purposes in
the media including electronic format in the Internet.
