Require Civil Engineers / District Coordinators as District Level Staff for execution of Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Andhra Pradesh.
NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), a wholly owned Company of NABARD and a leading

applications for Civil Engineers / District Coordinators (13 posts) for project Monitoring of
MGNREGS-AP Programme for works to be executed by Dept. of Animal Husbandry, GoAP in
convergence with the Department of Rural Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The recruitment is project based on contract basis for a period of one year, which can be further extended
based on performance review and to be co-terminus with the Project period.
Key Responsibilities:

To plan, execute, monitor and technically evaluate civil works.


Shall act in coordination with district team of Department of Animal Husbandry (DoAH) and
liase with district offices for the smooth implementation of scheme.
Shall coordinate and facilitate the procurement of shelf of works and their critical milestones
and other available documents from relevant department.
Should make field visits to sample works taken up under convergence with MGNREGS and
conduct technical evaluation of the works completed, find out gaps/ deviations from planned
works and propose solutions for better implementation of scheme.
Should continuously guide and monitor the work of Technical Monitors placed under him/her.
Shall review 100% of the entries made, into Measurement-Books, by the Technical Monitors
reporting to them.
Shall act as resource person and provide handholding support and other capacity building
measures to the selected resource persons.

Shall assist the department to effect payments to the concerned in time and generate pay order
at DCC.
Any other work assigned to them by state level specialist team of NABCONS from time to
time.
Shall compile data / reports of works monitored by Technical Monitors and consolidate periodic
progress reports and submit report to the state level NABCONS specialist team.

Further, the candidate should have knowledge of MS Office with proficiency in MS Excel & Power
Point. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking both English and Telugu is preferable.

Compensation:
Candidate will be paid consolidated compensation of Rs.60,000/- per month (including travel allowance
lumpsum @) Rs.10000 /- Per Month).
Age:
Preferably below 45 years as on 01 November 2016.
Contract Period:
Initial contract will be for one year which can be extended based on performance review and to be coterminus with the Project period.
