chosen niche - golfing, original ideas include: water sports, wind sports, wind gauge websites, accommodation
for these areas and collating instructors for these sports.
logo
golf is a game focused on "green" color schemes. we want our website to focus on the beautiful nature of golf
courses and accommodation. golf balls and flags are used in many golfing logos worldwide and as a usabili-
ty concept - it is good to continue this already recognized theme into our website.
green is a predominantly soothing color and fits well with many photos of golf courses.
the logo is designed to make our customers feel comfortable knowing they are at a website about golfing ac-
commodation while feeling without taking up too much of the precious real-estate or distracting from the other
visuals on the website.

seo research
SEO (search engine optimization) often frightens new marketers like us.
However with some guide we managed to do something about this.
#1. Keyword Research - Using Google Adwords Keyword Tool was the first step
#2. Create a keyword-rich title tag - Creating a Title that has our main Keyword was important as this would be
the first thing read and searched on the search engine.
#3. Create a keyword-rich description - Making a META-tag allows the readers know what this site is about
when searched, thus using keyword is important. However using keyword over excessively will cause the search
engine to think of it as spamming, thus keeping the keyword's density relatively(about 2%) was the key point to
making the article.
Keeping these 3 points in mind, and researching for examples on the net, the SEO was done.

technical
The time consumption of the project arised when face with Wordpress integration. Wordpress has its own cus-
tom tag system which allows for limited inline PHP code injections. The structural relationship between tags,
posts, categories, pages, sub-pages and navigation are all proprietary to the Wordpress platform and therefore
instill their own learning curve.
xHTML and CSS provide a static structure to which pages are presented, dynamic content is normally plugged
from a mysql database and converted by PHP into xHTML / CSS structures - so our workflow looked like this:
The technical process was challenging us at every stage. Often changes made to one part would break some-
thing else down the line and the hierarchy of wordpress would get confused or confusing.
Rising above the challenge, we have learnt php, mysql, wordpress, xhtml, css, jquery and wholistic inte-
gration of all these languages. Considering the brief only called for html and css combined with tourism
exchange - we have excelled technically, while maintaining a very professional looking website.
