14th CONFERENCE 2013 KUALA LUMPUR

26 - 28 March 2013, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Keynote Speech:

Summary of
ISAP Asia Session
Follow-up Survey
The 11th International Conference on Asphalt Pavements
(ISAP NAGOYA 2010) was held in Japan in August 2010, as
the first conference in Asia, organized by ISAP (International
Society for Asphalt Pavements) and JRA (Japan Road
Association). The Asia Session was held prior to the
Conference, and all the presentations by invited speakers
from Asian countries as well as the discussions followed were
informative and fruitful.
The success of the Asian Session encouraged the Executive
Committee in JRA to set up the ISAP Asia Session Followup Survey Committee. The Committee has conducted
the questionnaire survey and the interview-field survey on
pavement technologies in Asian countries to share knowledge
and information on technical aspects of pavements.
The outline of the study is presented on behalf of the
Committee in this workshop.
