The world was very cruel as the Lord Jesus Christ hung on the cross.
They felt they had proven that He was not the Messiah and that He could not be
the Son of God, because He was pinned to the cross. They thought they had over
powered Jesus! But had they?
And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah,
thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

We have had a lot happen. The Lord is answering prayers, opening doors, and helping us in many ways. But, the
devil is also trying to make barriers. Praise the Lord! That must mean we are doing something right!
We had another deaf lady start coming to church. The third Sunday after coming, she trusted in the Lord. We just
happened to have been having a baptism service that day. She went with us to see what a baptism was like. After the fifth
person was baptized, I asked if anyone else was ready for baptism. She quickly raised her hand and got in the water. Since
then, she has been facing some persecution at her house. Please pray for her.
Tai, the deaf man that recently got saved, is now coming over to the house every Tuesday and Thursday for more
one on one Bible study. He has been very faithful to every service and so helpful with the door to door tract distribution and
witnessing. He has been talking to other deaf about the Lord and coming to church. He also helps me in the preparation for
soul winning nights. He has been such an encouragement and blessing to us.
God has also answered all your prayers about our jail ministry. Today, the warden for the jail and his wife came to
our house to give me a schedule of days that I can teach in the jail again. Praise the Lord! Therefore, I will be teaching in
the jail every Wednesday for an hour English class and a 30 minute Bible study. Please pray for the Lord to open the men’s
hearts and to help them understand the good news! Thanks for praying.
We also had another snake in the church. The Lord showed His hand of protection in a wonderful way. We had a
very venomous snake go into the church trying to find somewhere cool. Micah (our 8 year old) was in the church, but did
not see the snake. He left and Sarah (our six year old) very shortly entered and saw the snake. She stood still, screaming. I
was nearby and heard her scream “snake” in Thai. I was afraid that she had been bitten, but God protected her. The neigh-
bor came and helped me kill it. He was so scared that he looked very pale! This snake was about 7 feet or more in length.
Your prayers help to keep us safe and able to be a witness here in Thailand. Thank you so much for your prayers.
Kristi is still having many problems and is very weak. Please keep praying for her. The vitamin therapy helped to a
point, but she has not had any more improvement in several weeks. She is thankful that she is not as bad as she was several
months ago.
Please be praying for the Thai government. There have been many protests and rallies. They have been very peace-
ful, but someone is doing random bombing in Bangkok. Please keep the Thai people in your prayers.
