MICROFINE ELECTRONIC GRADE

ANTIMONY TRIOXIDE
CAS No. [1309644]

Microfine Electronic Grade is a specialty grade of sub-micron particle size antimony trioxide
for use in electronic applications. One such application consists of providing flame retardant
properties to resins used in the production of integrated circuit chips. Various critical soluble ions
that can have a detrimental effect on the performance of the integrated circuit chips are closely
controlled and maintained at very low levels. This product is produced under very carefully
controlled conditions to ensure low conductivity, a very fine and consistent average particle size
and also a narrow particle size distribution with the absolute minimum of coarser particles above
the micron. The product is predominately senarmontite (cubic crystal form), with a high tinting
strength and a bright white powder color.
