NATURE OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibility for design and drawing related activities.

Mechanical design of heat exchangers (shell & tube), pressure vessels, Feed water
heaters.
Responsible for obtaining approval of design & drawing from client, AI, IBR, TPI etc.
Approving Material take off.
Preparation of technical delivery conditions based on project specifications &
applicable codes for
material procurement.
Allotment & follow up of jobs for draughtsman to meet the project schedule.
Review of GA and fabrication detail drawings as per design before releasing for
fabrication.
Monitoring & controlling engineering activities to keep it in the track of overall project
schedule & reporting the engineering status to the management.
Coordinating with project, production & QC departments on any technical issues for
smooth running of the project.
Coordinating with Subcontractors and material suppliers on technical issues.
To organize discussions with client, TPI & AI to resolve any technical hurdles and
ensure smooth running of the project.
Preliminary design of equipments for estimation during bidding stage.
Validation of Design softwares by manual calculations.

Client: Fluor Technip Integrated
Lead Engineer for design of 45 nos. Fixed tubesheet exchangers. Design of heaviest heat
exchanger (260 MT) manufactured by TEMA India LTD.

CONVERSANT STANDARDS:
ASME BPVC SECTION VIII DIV I, Div II, PART II A & D, TEMA 9 th Edition, API 660, API RP 582,
NACE MR0103, IBR. Industry specifications Shell DEP, Chevron etc.

Intergrah PV Elite & CODECALC, Paulin Nozzle pro, Paulin Flanged & Flued.
