Statewide Recovery Plan) of $200,000 for the purposes of Youth Activities, including a Skate Park and Regeneration of a Cricket Oval o April 2010 – Youth Forum night held with approx 50 attendees identified that the real youth desire was for a purpose built Youth Facility to include both a shed – soundproofed and fitted out to accommodate storage and a multi purpose outdoor recreation area. o June 2010 - Senior and Junior Youth Groups combined to form the Youth Work Engine (under the FCH), and came together to initially design and scope the idea of a Youth Facility o Currently working with VBRRA to re-scope funding allocation to fit a Youth Facility Location: • Still seeking final resolution on a possible location. Funding: • VBAF funding of $103,000 is confirmed. Additional Scoping documentation will go to VBAF in August. Management arrangements: • Still to be confirmed.
