Abstract— Android based ERP system provides convenient
interface to maintain student and faculty information. It deals
with student details, details of various courses, attendance,
faculty details, time tables, syllabus, percentage, placements.
Android based ERP system replaces traditional college
document functions by using handheld electronic devices.
Key words: ERP System

of APIs. The next paper by Aiwale Vikram focuses on
providing the user with information about college and
campus.[3] Basic search application where user can write
review and invite a friend to the application. Various
important updates from the college can be notified in the

With the advancement in technology the life of a common
man is revolutionized at a pace which was never caught
before. Most of the hard copies of documents are replaced
with soft copies leading to conservation of resources by
preserving them. Technology has also reduced the space
required by hard copies of documents in physical world but
keeping the essence and meaning resolute. Our Android
Based ERP system aims at doing the same. Android Based
ERP System rationalizes the traditional methodology of
campus system.[1] It changes countless things to make
student and teacher life facile. In the physical world, it is quite
difficult to maintain various records of marks, books issued
from the library, lectures attended, etc.
Our system has a student login system where
students can easily view significant notices at any time on
their Android handheld device. In physical world a student
might have to check his marks for various subjects in
different teachers register, Android Based ERP System
enables a student to view his marks on the Android
application with ease. Students can view number of lectures
attended per subject on the application.

An android application for students which covers the
important components such as Attendance Management,
General Notices, Viewing Test Marks, Digital Library Card,
Subject wise notices. This project features mainly to maintain
student information and provide quick information regarding
upcoming events. The system works by first accessing the
Android ERP mobile application by the User. The user has to
register first using his email id. This application is connected
to the server via an Internet connection. Student can access
the application to view information and data. Files and be
stored and retrieved to the SQL Database via WAMP Server.
Application can be used as a Digital Library Card wherein the
student can get details about the books issued and their return
from the library. To enter details of the users a web portal is
to be used by the college end.

The upgrade in the mobile devices, wireless and web
technologies paved way to new applications that made
implementing ERP system very convenient. The paper by
Ravindra Rajput addressed the methods by which M-ERP
applications will incorporate all business functions like
recording attendance, student information, etc. in a single
system and database. This paper provides specifications and
requirements for M-ERP applications and how Android
mobile phones are used for ERP systems.
The Education system of India has dynamically
changed in the last few years. The use of technology has
increased tremendously in recent years. The next paper by
K.Akhila was implemented in application in two parts. A
secure framework for implementing different mobile
applications like mobile register etc. using Android and Java
applications. Second part constituted of Near Field
Communication technologies and gamification behavior
approach to incorporate systems and modifying data using
mobile internet technology.
Android is one of the most popular open source
mobile application system that provides access to wide range

F. Results

The introduced application presents a system capable of
recording attendance of all the students in a class. It also
enables teachers to enter students' unit test marks or put up
important notices. Students can update their personal
information, view their unit test marks and apply for leave
through the application.
All the student and faculty data is stored on MySQL
Database. Connection between the Application and Database
is provided by the WAMP server.
The references used equip us with crucial
knowledge about the different approaches to implement the
respective modules. The various concepts of the project have
been presented in the above pages in an accurate manner.
