Milrem'sUGVType1featuresstrongmobility capbilities. Itfeaturesanhybridpowerpack,comprisingadiesel

generator, Liion battery packs and graphene ultracapacitors allowing speeds of 2550 km/h. These high
capability powerpackallows up to 8 hours ofnominal work. Thepowerpackis completely fitted inside each
trackmodule,eachmodulebeingentirelysimilar.ThisallowgreatermaintainabilityoftheUGV.

TheUGVType1hasalengthof2000mm,abasewidthof9002100mmandabaseheightof900mm.Italso
presentsazeroturningradius.

Weighingonly750kg withapayloadofupto700kg, theUGVcanadoptseveraldifferentconfigurationsas a

remoteweaponstation, remoteobservationandsensor vehicle,transportplatformforthe woundedandmany
otherfunctionsthat can pass throughany terrainimaginable,beit snow, sandorswamp. Deminingplatform,
communicationrelay,liftingplatformorevenfirefightingmissionswillbealsoconsidered,accordingtoMilrem.

Most of the unmanned solutions created so far areintendedto performonespecific task, i.e. small bomb
robots. The UGV concept that Milrem has developedis universal and will effectively supplement defence
capabilities onabattalion level,saidKuldarVrsi, CEOofMilrem.Unmannedgroundvehicleswillbe abig
partofthemodernisationofmilitarycapabilitiesinthenext5to10years ,headded.

TheUGVhasbeendevelopedincooperationwiththeEstonian Ministry OfDefenceandtheEstonian Defence

Forces. Milremis also cooperatingwith differentuniversitiesandcompanies in Estonia, LatviaandLithuania,
includingTallinnUniversityofTechnology,UniversityofTartu,EstonianNationalDefenceCollegeandLithuanian
Center for Physical Sciences and Technology. Milrem is a member of the Estonian Defence Industry
Association.

AccordingtoMilrem,thefieldtestcampaignisabouttobegin.Oncethebaseplatformfullydevelopped,Milrem
will propose variants,then will start developingan autonomous control system and, in the future, swarming
capabilities.
