This was Exxon's gift to Alaska.

B.C. can expect the same from Enbridge.

Twenty-one years ago, the Exxon Valdez ran aground, spilling 40 million
litres of crude oil into Prince William Sound and causing irreversible
damage. Now, Enbridge wants to bring the same risk to B.C.’s pristine
coastal waters and rainforest.
The proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline would carry oil from
the tar sands to a port at Kitimat, B.C. Supertankers fed by the Enbridge
pipeline would travel the same waters where the Queen of the North ferry
sank in 2006.

An open message to Enbridge CEO Patrick Daniel:

We oppose the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline and crude oil tanker traffic in B.C.’s
northern coastal waters. The risk oil spills pose to First Nations, communities and the
environment is too great.
