Acts 2:4247

They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, to the

breaking of bread and the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, because
many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who
believed were together and had all things in common... And day by day the
Lord added to their number those who were being saved.

Let us prepare our hearts and minds for the worship of God

Christ Our Lord Came to the Jordan

(J.S. Bach)

He Leadeth Me: O Blessed Thought

Leader: The Lord is our light and our salvation; whom shall we fear?
People: The Lord is the stronghold of our lives; of whom shall we be afraid?
Leader: The Lord will protect us and guide us.
People: Let us gladly offer ourselves before our God with shouts of joy;

let us sing praises to the Lord, our God.
We are the church, the body of Christ.
We belong to God, for His sake and for His purposes.
We exist to worship and exalt God and to proclaim Him as king.
He has called us, named us, commissioned us, and our response
is our willingness to be employed or laid aside, to be exalted or brought low,
to be full or empty, to have all things or have nothing.
We are Christs ambassadors to our neighborhoods and to the world
and we freely set aside our own will to serve as Christ calls.
We are the church and we belong to God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

y Responding to the Word of God z

O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
