Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
a) read and understand the story.
b) pronounce the words correctly.
c) understand the meaning of words.
Activities :
1. Teacher displays the story on the blackboard.
2. Teacher reads the story and followed by pupils.
3. While reading, teacher asks pupils to scan and
identify the words that includes "sh" and "ng"
phonemes.
4. Pupils reread the story group by group.
5. Teacher asks pupils to fill in the blanks and copy the
paragraph in the activity book.

1. Pupils are shown pictures of clothing and pupils
read them.
2. Teacher give instructions and asks pupils to do the
activity in the activity book.
3. In groups, teacher provides words strips. The word
strips are jumbles up.
4. Pupils have to arrange to form correct sentences.
5. Pupils read their answer in front of the class.
6. Teacher gives pictures, pupils cut and paste in their
exercise book. Then, copy the sentences on the
blackboard.
