Society is a combination of people living in the same area or living together.

Being
together is being ordered, systematic and united by our commonalities but
sometimes we are just a bunch of people in the same place with no pride and no
honor. Nowadays, based on what I observed on our society, people are more
focused on the careers they want, their own interests and prejudice, our individual
differences, and also the way of using the infamous social media. It is hard to
determine if we are still a society or just nothing. History, Culture, Nationalism and
Environment, that is what I know and care about, although I am not good enough, I
know the classification of a healthy society. Mabibilang mo na nga lang ang yung
mga may pakialam sa lipunan at kapaligiran eh. Marami tayong sinasabi, ngunit
kulang tayo sa gawa at pagsasapuso ng mga bagay na mag-aangat sa ating sarili,
sa iba at sa paligid. We should be the captain of our ship, the ship on where our
society and dignity lies. Our main purpose as a member of society is to lead that
ship into progress and success without compromising anything; and not to sacrifice
the precious things we have for just something selfish. Makasarili na ang mga tao
ngayon eh, alam niyo yun, wala na tayong ibang dinadakila kundi ang mga sarili
natin. Hindi tayo tutulong sa mga nangangailangan hanggat hindi natin nakikita sa
social media, nagiging tamad at batugan tayo pagdating sa kaalaman, sinisira natin
ang kalikasan, wala tayong alam sa nasyonalismo, dinudungisan natin ang dignidad
ng mga Pilipino, marami, marami pa ang problema natin sa lipunang ito. You know
what we need? a hero. But being hero is not just sharing, giving comment or likes a
post about a helpless person for others to help, being a hero is not even what the
comics has portrayed, you do not need to have super abilities in order to become a
hero. We need to activate the hero within ourselves, hero that cares by just simply
obeying the laws and policies concerning the environment or on our own city, hero
that ready to help and assist whenever someone is in need, hero that is studying
well and propagates the knowledge and essence of our own history and culture, a
hero that is truly Filipino.
