#1 - Select a field of engineering that interests you. You will research this engineering field and develop a 5-minute
technical presentation focusing on the following:

What specific job functions are involved with this field of engineering?

What type of environment does this engineer usually work in?

Are there specializations within this field of engineering?

In what ways is this field of engineering important to our society?

What are the expected salary ranges and job outlook for this career?

Why are you interested in this type of engineering?

#2- Identify a college or university that offers a degree in the selected field of engineering and address the following
questions:

What are the specific required courses you must complete to achieve a degree in that field of engineering?

What is the cost to attend this college/university? (per credit hour/semester/year/overall)

Are there any Co-op/Internship programs for engineers at this college/university? (think job placement
opportunities?)

Would you attend this college/university? Why or why not?

#3- Identify and interview an engineer, focusing on the following questions:
