Please be advised that we will be having a Consultation Meeting on
Febuary 20, 2014 1:00 o clock in the afternoon at the Bicol Merchant Marine College, Inc.
Piot, Sorsogon City.
Our Agenda includes the following:
1. Preparation of Qualification Map by School based on the 2014 TWSP Guidelines
2. Update on the recent development in TVET
a. Deployment of New Assessment Tools for Cookery NC II
b. Schedule of Assessment of all Trainers in Commercial Cooking NC II
c. Migration of registered Commercial Cooking NC II to Cookery NC II
3. Other Matters
Likewise, we would like to inform you that we are currently updating the provincial
TVET database, thus, we would really appreciate it if you could provide us the needed data
on the attached templates on or before the scheduled meeting.

MONITORING VISIT

Please be informed that as part of TESDAs monitoring function over the TVET
sector, we will be having a monitoring visit to all public and private technical vocational
institutions in the province from February 20 March 20, 2014.
Specifically the monitoring visit aims to:
4. Assist the TVIs especially those that are scheduled to be audited this year;
5. Review TVIs performance along Certification Rate and Employment Rate of
Graduates;
6. Update the TVIs on the recent development in TVET
Likewise, at the end of the monitoring visit, we hope to be able to establish/update
the provincial TVET database specifically on: (a) Qualified TVET Trainers vis--vis registered
programs, (b) Training Cost (c) TVET Enrollment and Graduates (d) Certification Rate and
Employment Rate of TVET Graduates. Thus, we would really appreciate it if you could
provide us the needed data on the attached template on or before the scheduled visit.
