INFORMATION
The undersigned Assistant City Prosecutor hereby accuses Justinio Luz Macasol of the
crime of Frustrated Parricide, penalized under Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code, committed
as follows:
Than or about 9:00 P.M. of January 8, 2017 in the City of Zamboanga, Philippines, and
within the jurisdiction of the Honorable Court, the said defendant, willfully, unlawfully and
feloniously, and with evident premeditation, that is having conceived and deliberated to kill his
wife, Pearl Marjorie Macasol, with whom he was united in lawful wedlock, offered her a milk
while they were watching TV together, which the latter drank until the glass is about half of its
contents, which caused her excruciating pain in her stomach, weakness and unconsciousness.
Blood test and urinalysis taken on the wife in the hospital both revealed positive on arsenic, a
widely known poison. That due to the insufficiency of the ingestion of the said poison, the wife
was able to survive.
