Theodora, the peasant:

Biography: Named after the magnanimous empress of


Byzantium, Theodora was born into a peasant family,
oldest of 7 siblings. After her mothers death,
Theodora was tasked with caring for her siblings. She
would awaken every morning at 3 and begin preparing
meals and laboring the farm. Although she was a
woman, Theodora could read and write. To provide
for her family, Theodora turned to the life of crime.
Quickly, Theodora became a world class hitman, killing
for large sums of money. After attempting to slay a
Spanish knight (17 years old at this point), Theodora
found herself face to face with Isabella, queen of
Spain.

Aragon, the peasant:
Biography: Aragon was the 2nd child born into a loving
family. After his parents assassination, Aragon
dedicated his life to finding the people responsible for
his parents death. Aragon let no one stand in his way,
he would kill anyone to find the assassins who killed his
parents. Aragon moved away from home at the age
of 18, now killing for money as well. He soon became
known as one of Spains greatest assassins. Aragon
now had a large bounty on his head, all of Spain
attempting to find him and bring him to the queen. At
the age of 21, he was finally caught and found himself
speaking to the Queen Isabella herself.

Queen Isabella the I of Spain:
Biography: Fair and virtuous Isabella, blessed queen of Castile and Leon, servant of God,
Spain welcomes it's powerful Monarch. Isabella was born in 1451, and crowned in 1474 at
the age of 23. She married Ferdinand the fifth and ruled Spain for 10 years. Isabella
reunified Spain after her brothers rule. She brought Spain out of debt, lowered crime
rates, and ruled her glorious empire successfully, making Spain the envy of the medieval
world.

King Discord I of France
Biography: Although Discord is not a real historical
figure, he acquired traits from some of the worst
leaders in history. Discord is homicidal, like Nero and
Genghis Khan, incompetent like Edward the II, and
generally just an awful person, like Ivan the Terrible.
Discord lacks political skills, like Queen Mary of
Scotland. Discord makes enemies, regardless of
consequences. He can be compared to Attila, leader of
the Huns, but without a strong army and military power.
Discord is causing chaos not only in his own empire, but
for other powerful civilizations as well.

Lady Joanna and Lord


Henry, the nobles
Biography: Joanna was born into an extremely wealthy family, with considerable amounts
of land and many workers. At a young age, she had the luxury to learn to read and
write, something not common among women. As Joanna became older she married
another wealthy noble, Lord Henry. Together, they shared lots of land and had many
serfs working for them. Joanna developed political skills from her husband, and both
Henry and Isabella became the number twos of Queen Isabella.

The Clergys
Biography: The priest can offer guidance to others and advice to a character. Priests
are a big part in the education of a city and can teach religion studies, philosophy, and
rhetoric to citizens. This can help to spread religion and gain more power. They also
taught how to read and write in Latin, allowing a city the grow and gain power in religion
and culture. Nuns spend lost of their time in prayer and meditation, and have hard labor
all throughout their day. They did things such as prepare meals, clean, produce wine and
spinning and weaving embroidery. Many women were uneducated, so only a few nuns
knew how to read and write. If they did, they would also educate novices and provide
medical care to citizens. Clergys are able to restore a part of a player's health during
the game.

The Merchants (Merchant and Fish Wife)


Biography: The Merchant allows you to buy goods from. You are able to purchase many
things if you encounter a merchant on your journey, such as food, medicine, weapons
(knives, daggers, etc), clothing, and spices. A fish wife was one of the most common
jobs for a women. They would sell things such as fish, dairy products, charcoal, oats,
salt and flour. If a fish wife insulted or said something rude, they would be disciplined
publicly by the townsmen and would undergo harsh punishments if not sorry.

The Knights
Bibliography: Knights will be something you encounter before entering each city. Since
the main characters are banned from France, they would need to fight the knight and
win to be able to enter through the borders. Knights live by a code of honor, chivalry.
They also protected churches, women, orphans and the weak. They performed military
tasks and services for the lords and ruler in the kingdoms.
