STUDENT MISSION TRIP: PHILLY '17


June 26-July 1, 2017. PHILLY 17 combines elements
of small group Bible study, evangelism training, and
worship with hands-on mission experiences like
Homeless Ministry, Social Ministry, Children's
Ministry, Ministry of the Arts, Games and Rec
Ministry, and Painting, Construction, and Yardwork
Ministries. There will be a informational meeting on
Sunday, January 8, at 10:00 am in the Barn.

Three new classes starting January 8:


The Screwtape Letters with Bruce Schlenke: This
new adult class will study this wise and intriguing
set of letters from a senior devil (Screwtape) to
his apprentice as they try to keep their hold on a
new Christian believer. Sundays at 11:15 am in
Fellowship Hall. Books are available for purchase
for $10 in the bookstore and in class on the first
day.

Heaven with Holly Campbell: What will heaven be


like? Randy Alcorn presents a thoroughly biblical

Awana for Age 3 - 5th Grade


Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Kids Ministry.
AWANA is a fun-filled, action packed, and Bible
based program for kids ages 3 through 5th grade.

Mens Ministry
Mens Breakfast: Saturday, January 7, 8:00 am
in Fellowship Hall. Bryan Whittington will be our

Small Groups
Our evening Small Groups in the following areas
invite new Members in January: Wexford-Tuesdays;
Cranberry-Wednesdays; Shaler-Thursdays;
Ross-Thursdays; and Moon-Thursdays. Or if youre a
guy, how about joining a Mens Quad? These are
groups of 4 - 7 men who meet at the church in the
morning or evening. We have lots of different small

Sunday Mornings for Infant - Preschool


Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers experience God
through age-appropriate activities including music
and dance, drawing, crafts, and Bible story at 8:45,

P.A.G.E.S.
(Performing Arts Group for Elementary Students).
For children in K - 6th grade who love singing,
performing, and the theater arts. Sundays, 12:302:00 pm in the Rally Room. Lunch is provided. New

The Edge: Mondays, 7:00 pm, Student Center. For

Christmas Un-decorating
We need help packing up Christmas decorations
on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. If you are available,

The Rack Pack
The Rack Pack replenishes the pew racks in the
Sanctuary each week. Time commitment is one
day every 5-6 weeks and you can choose your day

CaringMeals
Provide a meal (homemade or ordered/delivered
from a restaurant) to Christ Church members
following surgery, illness, or the birth of a child.

Kids Ministry
Sunday School Teacher for our PreK Class (4s and
5s) for the 8:45 OR 11:15 am class. Every Sunday
or every other Sunday for 75 minutes.

The Barnyard Kids Worship Service
Adult and/or High School musicians and vocalists
needed. Help lead our kids for their 10:00 am
worship time. Just a 25 minute commitment once

Lakeside Caf
Proceeds for the Caf go to our partner ministry,
Urban Impact. We need help to prep, serve, clean
up or cashier at one of three shifts on Sunday
mornings, one day per month. Fun way to serve
our urban mission, and get to know other CCGF

The Serenity Group - Women Seeking Peace:
Wednesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the
Farmhouse. Discovery, healing, and breaking free
from troubled relationships.

are cancer survivors, presently undergoing
