KSU offers a Communication Studies Masters program: 30 hours - 4 semesters
Specialize in PhD prep but also a great option for those seeking professional
development (generalist program).
Tuition waived with stipend ranging from $10,000-$13,000 per year.
As long as grades meet expectations, this is a 4 semester deal.
GTA position is unique - KSU grads actually teach and assign grades to
their students.
Accepting applications through March 15th.
Submit as early as possible - most of the positions will likely be assigned by the
end of February.
Application Requirements
Personal Narrative ~1,000 words (Why do you care about Communication
Studies and the research you are pursuing? Why does it matter?)
People reviewing the application are trying to determine if you
would be a good fit for the University and vice versa.
3 Academic References (1 could be from an employer but academic
references are preferred)
Seek out references that can attest to your dedication,
studiousness, creativity, curiosity, excellence, etc.
