Human Resource Management (HRM) is the function within an organization that focuses on
recruitment, management and providing direction for the people who work in the organization. It
also deals with issues related to people such as compensation, hiring, performance management,
organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication,
administration, and training.

The hotel business is one of the most cutthroat and competitive businesses in the world. Usually
the human resources manager has his or her hands full all the time because of employee
complaints and a very high attrition rate. One of the biggest grievances among hotel staff
members is that they are required to do too many jobs that they do not have the training or tools
to do it with. The human resources manager that takes the time and money to coach employees
and equip them properly will have a much higher retention rate. Although with this project we

3. By visiting the workplace to access their working environment and welfare orientation of
the organisation.
4. Gathering data from social media and review portals about the organisation culture.
5. Evaluating the HR related issues in these three organisations.
