Binding single PNG/JPG images into one PDF file

FIRST DOWNLOAD THE SCANS:


Download each png/jpg file or use DownThemAll! in firefox
How to use downthemall in firefox:
copy image address double clicking on the image/scan of the
first page of the book,
put this link in google docs in a A1 cell, them
divide the link in 3 columns:
the 1st part (the same in all links) extend it down to have lines
of the same link to the total number of pages of the book.
the 2nd part is the 0000-number (click format/ number: into
plain text to keep the zeros, careful not to miss one 0!)
eg:00001 to 00525)
and the .jpg or .png. and also extend it from the right corner
down to the number of total lines/pages of the book.
in 4th column put the formula to merge them =A1 & A2 & A3
(only with the &!)
and then copy all the links to Textedit with the name of the
book, click in format, make plain text save it.
Open firefox and click in TOOLS / DownThemAll! tools / DTA!
administrator/ double click : advanced/ download file change
from metaenlace to text file download and send it to a folder
with the name of the book and download all the scans at
once!!!!
THEN BIND THE BOOK:
open the first image in Preview
click VIEW click THUMBNAILS
copy the rest of the images and drag them to this thumbnails
list under the opened image in Preview
copy all images together again
click FILE click EXPORT SELECTED IMAGES
select: format: PDF
select quartz filter: REDUCE TO 150 dpi average quality-
standard compression (must be previously installed in
your computer)
and save in a separate folder of the same book.
open again the first image (now is a PDF)
Click EDIT, click INSERT, click PAGE FROM FILE
copy all others pdf (previous images) and add them
select all files (included the first)
click FILE click EXPORT AS PDF
Save in another folder of the same book.
and..
voil! :)
