How to throw a softball

Throwing & Catching Drill: 10 Minutes


Start underarm 15 throws each
Kneeling overarm 15 throws each
Standing overarm 15 throws each
Lesson Plan 2: Tuesday 5th September

Ground Ball Drill: 10 minutes


- Partner A rolls ball to Partner B
- Partner B fields ball and using the correct technique
throws the ball back to partner A
- Repeat for 5 minutes then swap

Fly Ball Drill: 10 minutes


- Split the class into 2 groups
- 2 lines indian file in the outfield
- Hit fly balls between the pairs
- This drill builds communication skills and Softball
defensive skills

Lesson Ending: 10 MIN Homework
