I. INTRODUCTION

1. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

2. OBJECTIVES
To apply the critical path method (CPM) of scheduling the construction
project.
To be able to list down and do a proper sequencing of events for the
different activities undergoing the construction of a single storey
residential house.
To be able to draw and AOA (Activity on Arrow) and AON (Activity on
Node) network with the events and activities properly interconnected.
To be able to determine the critical path/s and critical activities.
3. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The essence of this study is to have an overview of what goes on in the
construction of a single storey residential house.
4. SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
This study is limited only to single storey residential house with an area
of ONE-HUNDRED AND SIXTY SQUARE METERS.
