POLLUTION LESS ENGINE

ABSTRACT :
The quest of human beings todevelop engines with high power, high torque,
less vibration andmost essentially with no pollutionis on since the discovery
anddevelopment of engine. Stirlingengine is just one step forwardtowards the
creation of a noisefree and pollution less engine. The Stirling engine is
theengine, which uses a fixed amountof gas sealed inside a cylinder.
Theexpansion and contraction of thegas, using heat from externalsource,
creates the useful work. The main advantage of this engineis its capability to
use any type of fuel and the emission of noexhaust gases.Due to this
pollution freeand use of any type of fuelcharacteristics the Stirling
engineshows a greater potential over anyother type of engine existingtoday.
To consolidate this claim aneffort has been made to develop working model of
stirling engine.

a *closed* regenerative thermodynamic cycle, with cyclic compression and
expansion of the working fluid at different temperature levels.
