Notes

:
1. The WBM shall be laid in proper slope as per the drawing.
2. PE sheet to be load prior to taking up the pavement concreting work.
3. MC 200 Channel Shuttering shall be used.
4. The reinforcement shall be prefabricated and kept ready prior to concreting. The reinforcement shall be cut to suit the panel size.
600 5. The reinforcement mat shall be placed after completion of 150mm thickness of pavement concrete inside the panel.
6. The location of expansion joint in TT pavement area shall be as per drawing. For other location, it should be given @ every 24mc/c.
7. The bed level of RCC drain shall be as per the OWS layout drawing.
8. The RCC drain has been shown as passing at an offset of 5m from the end of Bay 8 in the OWS layout drawing. In case the pavement
50X 50X 6mm Flat beyond that point, then RCC cover shall be placed on drain for Gantry width portion.
9. The end of RCC drain from both the sides shall have 3 Chamber and provision for routing the rainwater either in OWS or in storm water drain.

10. Earthpit shall be laid in Gantry Area ( One earth pit for every 2 bays), either earthpit to be laid at suitable location prior to concreting or open slot
of min 750mmx 750mm to be left. GI Earth flat of 50 x50x 6mm thk to be laid between pits prior to concreting and finally 2 Nos earthflat to be taken

of pavement area for connection in the plant grid, if required.
50X 50X 6mm Flat 11. 4 Nos earth pit shall come near four corner columns of the Gantry for Lightning protection earthflat. 2 Nos earth pit at ends to be interconnected
with each other with GI earth flat before laying concrete.
12. Under ground piping for decanting line to be laid and backfilled with sand prior to pavement work. The 4" spouts shall be properly covered to
prevent accidental entry of construction material. The backfilling shall be done only after hydro-testing. Flange connection with blind to be kept
for U/G pipes at both ends of the Gantry for future extension/ isolation. On one side the U/G pipes shall extend up to landscaping area near Bay 1
The location where flanged connection is provided should be enclosed in a pit with cover for future opening/ maintenance. Pit can be of BM
provided it is not in area where truck movement is likely to occur.
GRATING DETAILS 13. For RCC road portion, the transverse slope of either side shall be 1 in 120 for movement of water.
14. Curing shall be done for min period as per Item Description.
15. Panel Scheme and numbering to be decided before hand for proper monitoring and quality control.
(To be fixed on RCC drain in TT Gantry Area) 16. The transverse bars of 8mm dia, 400 long shall be provided in all panels on all sides at mid depth except at expansion joint. The bar shall be
embedded for at least 200mm in each panel. The spacing of the 8mm bar shall be 300mm c/c.
75 75 17. The channel shuttering shall have holes made @ 300c/c on all sides for facilitating insertion of 8mm bar after completion of 100mm thickness of
concrete.
Grating with 50 x 6 flat 18. Vacuum de-watering shall be done as per item description.
19. The top surface shall be made rough with the help of broom after finishing the surface when the concrete is green. The direction of broom mark
ISA 65 X65 X8 shall be perpendicular to the direction of truck movement. The depth of broom mark shall not be more than 3 mm. Marking shall be done in such
a manner that uniformity is maintained with respect to the adjacent panel.
20. Where ever buried fire water line are expected below pavement, the same to be coated, laid and hydro tested prior to concreting work.
