Part II:

Implementation evidence

Reflection

The TPACK resource that I decided to implement this week was the toondoo.com website
for students to summarize their ideas. This website was SO cool! My students had a great
time because of all of the available formats, cliparts, and fun tools that they could use to
create their toon. For this assignment, I had to students focus on summarizing the
beginning, the middle, and the end of the story that weve been reading. While this ended
up working out great, I think that the panels could be used in a variety of different ways,
such as focussing on the themes, central ideas, and textual structure.

The website was very easy to use, the part that took the longest was the
registration portion. For the purposes of this class, I just created my own login and had the
students share the login information. However, in the future, I think it will be quite easy
for each student to create their own. Students were very engaged during the assignment
and were excited that they got to create their own illustrations and visual ideas.
