CRITERIA MARKS
CONTENT (Development) 10
 The purpose and objective of the report is made clear, and the
report addresses the objective(s) in a focused and logical
manner.
 Findings and discussions are clearly oriented to the purpose.
They are organised in a considered, relevant manner, and leads
the reader logically from the findings to the analysis.
 Conclusions are relevant and accurately portray the key results of
the document.
 Recommendations are specific action- oriented suggestions,
oriented to the problem provided, and organised in a relevant
manner.

LANGUAGE 10
 sentences are mature and parallel
 sentences show variety of pattern and are rhetorically effective
 essay is written in a style and tone appropriate to the audience,
topic and purpose
 words are appropriate and well chosen
 writer avoids jargon and sexist language
 minimal errors in grammar (comma splices, fragments, fused
sentences, agreement, etc.), spelling, and mechanics (margins,
format, etc.)

ORGANISATION 5
 paragraphs are organised, unified and coherent
 each supporting paragraph has a controlling idea in supporting
paragraphs, topic idea helps further the thesis

FORMAT/CITATIONS 5
 follows required format, which include cover page, page number
and numbering
