1) Why ?
- Because we have industrial edge curriculum, which is incompatible with the Information
Society Demands
2) What?
- We need more flexibility, more skill for adapting to unexpected, sudden changes, learning skills
and abilities to acquire information.
3) Example: Visit to Koulumestari school in Espoo gave Insight how a new
curriculum could look like and what opportunities it could provide e.g. a girls and a bag.

§What are the roles in the traveler metaphor?§

WE SHOULD:

-think more about the concrete side

-concentrate on international level

-criticize our work more

-have creative criticism

-go through the levels of this process, given in the handbook

-combine our metaphors of traveller and train

-really think, is creating a new curriculum our aim

NEXT STEPS:

§At the moment we have two parties in our group: abstract and concrete. Could we
come up with two different solutions, one as a 10y plan, other as a 2y plan§

After lunch discussion on what next, how to proceed.

The group agrees on using the Wallinvirta model, and divide to three groups to work.

Observer Pirjo asks everyone how they are doing in the group.
